Students from Germany should apply for the DAAD scholarship to cover the expenses. DAAD provides 8 scholarships, each one is 1,475 euro.
The registration fee is 950 euro per person. This includes:
– accomodation (student dormitory);
– course of Russian language;
– tuition fee;
– social and cultural program.
Several scholarships are provided by Yugra State University. The amount is 450 euro, which means that the participants who get them would pay 500 euro as the registartion fee. Please specify in your application forms that you apply for the scholarships. The deadline is May, 1 as well.
You can go by train from Moscow. There is no railway station in Khanty-Mansiysk. The nearest stations are Surgut (Сургут) and Pyt-Yakh (Пыть-Ях). To buy tickets online go to: http://www.eng.rzd.ru. It will cost you about 200 euro, and it will take 44 hours (1/4 of the Trans-Siberian trip).
